Description
In our opinion, this is the tea equivalent of a cat’s healing purr. Made from 2010 Menghai shou puer, this tea covers the most important ground of a good shou: Smooth, with nutty notes, a cocoa quality, and overall warming, comforting effect. With plenty of age on it, the soup is also quite clean and free of any fermentation or storage notes.
This soothing tea is accompanied by soothing portraits of five of Emperor Qianlong’s personal cats on the wrapper, with the Imperial Feline’s name and meaning on the reverse side. Each cake will be a random cat, except for purchases of a tong, which will include one of each.

Very light, sweet, and smooth. This tea loses momentum sooner than most shou I’ve come across but at the price point to quality ratio who cares? Has a lovely cocoa and nutty flavor profile that makes for a light and warming pick me up
