One of our personal favourite varietals of Dancong, this Aofuhou does a fantastic justifying why this is so.

A subvarietal of Songzhong, this Aofuhou (aka “Tifuhou”, “Tafuhou” or whatever transliteration from Chaouzhou dialect you call it) has a similarly fruity character, leaning heavily towards the grape and berry side of things. This is as juicy as a tea can get.

As this tea comes from high mountain, old bushes and has been charcoal roasting, there is a full texture in the soup and a milky quality that persist. The flavour lasts long in the mouth and throat, making this a tea to enjoy well after you’re done brewing.
