Description
One of several certified organic additions from spring 2024, this classically processed Dianhong delivers everything we love about this style and then some.
This tea comes out very sweet, in a brown sugar kind of way. There are notes a cinnamon and a prominent toasted scent, while the wet leave gives off a slight sweet potato/bean scent.
Overall, this tea is quite unique compared to classic Dianhong examples, leaning into roasted qualities, but remaining dynamic. We highly recommend this for any black tea lover as an interesting and affordable daily drinker

The entire experience of this tea is enlightening. The dry aroma is rich with notes of sweet potato and brown sugar. Wet leaf has the same aromas, but revealing red bean paste. Palate is nice and silky with a nice weight to it. Notes of sweet potato, brown sugar, red bean paste, hints of cinnamon, and toasty caramel bread. It’s so good and I’m kicking myself for only getting 15g. Long lasting sweetness and velvety/oily texture.
I love what Bitterleaf puts out in general, but I truly think they put out some of the best black teas around.

It is an amazing black tea. Beautiful, eye pleasing leaves and very warm, caramel kind of smell. Jin Jun Mei smells similar to me.
Very sweet, malty flavour, with mellow bitterness and highly satisfying. It is amazing brewed grandpa/western style and very satisfying in the cold evenings. If you brew it for a minute or two only, it will last 2 strong infusions, and then increase the brewing time for another two.
I’ve repurchased as soon as it became available gain!

A no brainer. If you like Black tea, you should definitely give it a try and consider this as your daily option. A lot of depth, flavor, nice quality at an affordable price.
Gave 4 star for my personal preference, i like more other tea types but i can appreciate a good black tea.

This tea get me thirsty for more. Luckily, the leaves are capable to stand an extended session
