Description
Considering Pomelos are one of our favourite fruits, it was a no brainer to bring back the Dancong version of this oversized citrus for a 3rd year in a row.
It’s no shocker that this tea delivers an overwhelmingly citrusy experience, including the intoxicating scent of citrus flower, a slight fruity quality and even notes of citrus zest and the slight bitterness that comes with it.
This tea is exceptionally crisp, leaving a cooling sensation in the mouth after taking a sip. Aside from gongfu brewing, this tea also performs well when cold-brewed.
Please note that the 250g size does not include a tin.
$0.27-0.37/gram
Varietal: Youhuaxiang/柚花香/Pomelo Flower Fragrance
Region: Wudong Shan, Guangdong
Altitude: 600-800m
We recommend brewing this tea using Chaozhou style gongfu brewing. Here’s how it’s done:
For something different, you can also try cold brewing:

Gave the edge to the 4th star for the price. Good physical sensation, nice smell and enjoyed drinking it.

Light and refreshing tea perfect for hot summer day. Crazy citrus taste and smell
//Smell: Pow-pow super intense citrus smell, garden fresh air, zest, warming floral pastries
//Texture: Liquor that spreads in the mouth along the sides of the tongue, thick texture that lasts long
//Taste: Warming spices, puff pastry with cream inside, orange flower blossom, tart, zesty honey brew, thin crepe with Grand Marnier, mineral
//Body sensation: Heat, urge to learn, cognitive interest, silence
