Description
The name says it all with this tea. Initially exhibiting a malt-chocolate quality typical Dianhong, this tea develops its floral side in subsequent infusions, alongside a slight peach-like sweetness.
This tea comes from the same Daxhushan region bushes as the previous year, which see minimal human interference outside of picking. In many cases this could be labelled “wild”, but that’s a bit of a misnomer. The tea is more “left to grow” by our labelling standards.
Please note that the 250g size does not include a tin.

The description is very accurate. Fruit and chocolate balance perfectly in the cup. The impressive depth and complexity of this tea is not reflected in the price. Two thumbs up.

The name of this tea doesn’t lie! In the aroma there’s stewed peaches, strawberries and chocolate cereal bars, and the wet leaf brings a blend of florals and even peanuts after a few steeps. The flavor brings fruit and florals forward, and the stonefruit persists well into the breath out and aftertaste.
