This artist’s work was a love-at-first-sight moment. Although the design and subject seems almost childish at first glance, it simultaneously has a sophisticated and delicate quality that make it feel precious.

This only becomes more apparent up close, as the handpainted details and texture reveal themselves, with clean lines and textural differences between the painted and unpainted portions. This is one of those pieces that effectively combines a modern design with a vintage aesthetic.

A very labour intensive piece, this attention to detail extends beyond the design and artistry. The pour on this teapot is incredibly smooth and the lids fit very snug. There really isn’t a flaw that we can can find with this teaware.
