Description

This series of teapots draws inspiration from Cizhou (磁州窑 – a Song dynasty ceramic kiln) ceramics, featuring a fully handpainted leaf design. As these are handmade/handpainted pieces, there may be slight variations in appearance from one piece to another.

Cizhou kiln ceramics have enjoyed renewed popularity recently, especially among younger artists in Jingdezhen. With a reduced colour palette, often 2-tone, the focus is on designs of geometric shapes, patterns, calligraphy or figures.

These teapots hold approximately 90ml of liquid and pour empty in 8 seconds via a larger ball filter. These teapots are also glazed inside and out, with a thin clear glaze inside, allowing you to use this with multiple types of tea.
