Description

Made by the a different studio in Jingdezhen than our original Cizhou Impression cups, these pieces similarly draw inspiration from Cizhou (磁州窑 – a Song dynasty ceramic kiln) ceramics, featuring a fully handpainted design.

Cizhou kiln ceramics have enjoyed renewed popularity recently, especially among younger artists in Jingdezhen. With a reduced colour palette, often 2-tone, the focus is on designs of geometric shapes, patterns, calligraphy or figures.

Each teacup holds approximately 25ml (+/- 5ml) of liquid.
