These teacups were handmade and handpainted in Jingdezhen. Qinghua (blue painting) style painting is usually applied on more refined pieces for a clean aesthetic, however, these achieve a more rustic look by employing qinghua that is painted over a rough clay base.

Similar to our Feline Master Cups (exactly like them, really), several of these teacups feature cats, but a lone deer design spoils the party. So to make it less confusing we dropped the name for this batch.
