Description

Each teacup from this series is hand painted by a group of young artists in Jingdezhen. Their intention with these cups is to blend their own modern approach with traditional/mythical subjects and technique.

Each of these designs are labour intensive, requiring multiple days to paint and with a low success rate for firing. They take time and effort to develop the designs, in this case a Phoenix, which are also 100% original and not duplicates of other artwork or images. Unlike the base series, these teacups use a faux-wood fired glaze as a base.

This cup holds approximately 90ml of liquid.
